Love cannot co-exist with Fear, just like Fear cannot co-exist with Love. How do you balance the two? (Copy)

Hi everyone,

I want to ask you, How are you handling these times of Quarantine? Are you letting this horrible circumstance get the best of you or are you taking charge of this situation? My guess is, a little bit of both right? I hear you!

I’m sitting here writing you this blog post with absolute grace because most days I’m able to make the most of it and I wish that for you! I want to share my own quarantine experience and how I make the best of it, in hopes to inspire you to find your own coping mechanism!

The first couple of weeks we’re, what i’d like to call, A HOT MESS!!! As I’m sure you all can relate! We were all grieving this crisis in our own way and I know for us, we were often living in a state of SHOCK and DESPAIR! I’d easily find myself let the fear and anxiety get the best of me, naturally! It was an emotional rollercoaster between fear and anxiety, to bored and border line depressed to finding the joy in all of this! Once I’ve reached the next phases of the grieving process (Acceptance), I felt 10 x better it’s exactly what I want to for you during these challenging times!

Once you’re able to reach the level of acceptance, you’re able to live in a state of love and reduce your state of fear which helps enhance your creativity, love and gratitude. Now I’m not saying all is great and all the fear and anxiety is gone away, heck no, But it’s definitely a place you visit less and less!

This past week I’ve been blessed to live in a state of Love more often than living in a state of Fear and the only way I got here is by practicing these 3 things;

  1. A change in perspective!

    Changing the way I see things. Instead of focusing on the unknown, the lacks, the uncertainty, the worse case scenario I started seeing this as an opportunity to develop myself physically, mentally and develop the skills that’s required to reach my goals and my passions that much faster!

  2. Personal Growth/Self/Skill development!

    When you’re able to do the work in your personal growth and self/skill development especially during these challenging times, imagine how much stronger you’ll be when this settles! You’ll walk out of this a new person with a different outlook on life. This is your time now to read or listen to content that will help you grow into your best self and develop that skill you’ve been longing for!

  3. Love and Kindness!

    When you’re able to live in a place of service you’re able to live in a state of love and when you live in a state of love you’re reducing your fear and anxiety significantly! Remember, fear cannot co-exist with love just like love cannot co-exist with fear and when you’re living in a state of chronic stress and anxiety, it affects your overall health and wellbeing!

My new mission is to be in a place of service where I can help others during these hard times and it has helped my level of fear and anxiety significantly because I get a dose of oxytocin (Feel Good Hormone) every time I’m in a place of service or practice kindness in and around me. Which is why most volunteers look so happy and healthy because they feel so good being of service for others. Oxytocin is designed to keep is connected therefore the more you can be of service and practice kindness, the more you’ll live in a state of love and less in a state fo fear!

Hope this serves!

If you feel like anyone would benefit from this message, please spread the love and share this blog post!

Until next time my friends, Keep Progressing on your journey towards health and wellness!
