Stand Guard @ The Gate Of Your Own Mind!

Hi Everybody

My name is Nancy Pitre, and I'm your Health Coach tuning in once again to provide you with a few nuggets of wisdom to help facilitate your journey towards wellness.

If I can share with you 1 thing I would say this…

Please stand guard at the gate of your own mind! Wether it's your family member, your spouse, your friends, the news or social media, it's important to take responsibility of who or what goes into your own mind. I realize it's easy to get consumed, especially with everything that's going on. But if you continue feeling anxious, angry, scared or sad after exposing yourself to the news, or social media or certain people in your life, then that's a clear indicator that you haven't set healthy boundaries for your wellbeing.

I for one, can't performed at my best when I let the drama of the world get the best of me. It's one thing to stay informed and yet another when it makes you feel lousy. There's a few ways you can stand Guard at the gate of your own mind.

#1 Balance it out by listening to something that will inspire or empower you.

#2 Be the light you wish to see, meaning, try to steer the conversation away from the drama, and towards something that's more positive

#3 If you have to, let people know where you stand when it comes to setting healthy boundaries for yourself.

Honestly we have enough people feeding into the negative aspect of the world, let's try balancing it out by inviting more positivity into this world. and this is the best way I know how!
